Jennifer Jamgochian, LCSW

Jennifer Jamgochian, LCSW is a cofounder and therapist at ThriveWell Psychotherapy. Jennifer is a licensed clinical social worker who received her Master’s degree from Touro College.

Jennifer is passionate about helping people feel more connected and present in their lives. She believes in providing clients with a safe and judgment free space to express themselves, address challenges, and achieve goals. Jennifer works from a strengths based perspective, highlighting her client’s resiliencies while promoting acceptance and self compassion.

Jennifer uses her knowledge of multiple evidence based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to provide her clients with skills and strategies to improve their overall well-being. Additionally, Jennifer has extensive experience as an executive function coach and integrates this work as needed. Through engaging in the change process, Jennifer’s aim is to help her clients feel successful and fulfilled in their lives.

Prior to starting ThriveWell Psychotherapy, Jennifer worked for a private group practice that specialized in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Jennifer also has a background in working for community based agencies on juvenile justice reform.
